Can anyone tell me what is the instrument being used is for?
I am interested in DMS but I noticed that there were no guys at all. Are there usually fewer guys doing this career?
From what I understand, it's the specialties like cardiac echos that have more men. I don't care to be doing transvaginal anything, or have zero interest in obstetrics or babies. I've also read that the ultrasound waves can actually effect babies -- so ethically i'd have a problem with doing that kind of work. The specialties also pay more, and the generalists have to deal with more bodily fluids, if you know what i mean.
